Zunheboto to impose 2-day total lockdown every week

Dimapur, August 2: The District Task Force Zunheboto and ZCMC have resolved to enforce revised guidelines to be enforced with effect from August 3 till further order. This was decided in a meeting held on held August 1.
On August 2, 18 new COVID-19 cases were detected in Zunheboto, taking the number of active cases in the District to 25.
The DTF Zunheboto decided that inter district travelers coming into Zunheboto should compulsorily produce medical fitness certificate with movement permit from the authorities of the concerned districts, and those travelling without proper documents shall not be allowed to enter the district.
Further in an order, the Deputy Commissioner and chairman District Task Force Peter Lichamo notified that those coming in from other districts to Zunheboto district shall remain under home quarantine isolation for a period of 7 days. He notified that total lockdown in the district shall be imposed on every Wednesday and Friday, shop timings in other days will be from 7 am to 4 pm, proper wearing of face masks and maintenance of social distancing shall continue. Defaulters shall be penalized as per the standing order, the DC said. (Page News Service)
