ZRSU conducts career guidance programme


Dimapur, April 16: Zunheboto Range Students Union (ZRSU) conducted a career guidance cum counselling for students of Class X and Class XII under the theme ‘Retrospect and reclaiming our future’ on April 14 at Town Hall, Zunheboto. The resource persons were Principal, Emmanuel Hr. Sec School, Dr. Vihuto Assumi, Major LC Singh, 5th Assam Rifles and Principal, Anderson Theological College, Atoizu, Dr. Shitovi Yeptho.
In the seminar, the speakers briefed the students on goal setting in various disciplines including secular, military and spiritual perspectives. The students were also urged to work hard with determination to equip themselves more in the race for various competitive fields.
Urging the students to work harder, the resource persons exhorted that competition in any discipline/ field has become cut throat and only best among the best is selected and therefore urged the students to equip themselves with skills and knowledge for one’s survival. The trio also exhorted the students to put God first in their quest for goals and follow one’s heart to be better citizens in the society.
The programme was also attended by Lt. Colonel and 2 I/C 5th Assam Rifles, Gopa Kumar. Earlier the program was chaired by Education and Stastical Secretary, Nito Zhimo while welcome address by President, ZRSU, Kabo Kiba. (Page News Service)
