ZGC unable to enforce social distancing

Nagaland News

Dimapur, April 8: As academic session in the State continues its cautious return to normal/offline mode of learning, Zunheboto Government College (ZGC) is said to be facing difficulties on two fronts in ensuring social distancing measures at the college.
While speaking during an event on Thursday to welcome freshers to the college, the Principal of ZGC, K Nishena Nekha, said that social distancing was not possible due to lack of classrooms; and because of small-size class rooms and high number of students.
A press release from the media coordinator of the event informed that the Principal made the remark while talking about COVID-19 safety in the college.
Nekha however said that wearing of face masks and using of hand sanitizers and disinfectant for all students were being strictly followed and the SOPs issued by the higher authorities are also being followed, it stated. He further urged everyone to stay safe and follow all safety protocols. (Page News Service)
