Youth festival celebrated in Tuensang

Dimapur, September 25: A vibrant youth festival took place at the Town Hall in Tuensang on September 25, featuring Thungchanbemo Tungoe, ADC Tuensang, as the keynote speaker.
The festival was jointly organised by the District Administration Tuensang, District Sports Office Tuensang, and Chang Wedoshe Steshang (CWS) as part of the Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) Campaign.
Addressing the gathering, the ADC emphasised the significance of the youth festival in showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the region.
He urged students to take pride in their knowledge of the area’s traditions and culture. Additionally, he encouraged all eligible students who have reached the age of 18 to register themselves as voters and actively participate in clean elections.
Tungoe stressed the importance of selecting dedicated and energetic candidates who can work for the welfare of the community.
The festival included various competitions and activities, such as photography, folk song performances, and a millet dish competition.
The Youth Festival saw enthusiastic participation from students across Tuensang Town.
