Dimapur, July 1: The Dimapur unit of Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA) on Thursday visited 30 widows and 20 BPL homes at Zukiye village and distributed essential commodities such as rice, lentils, oil, vegetables, hygiene essentials like soap etc.
A press release from the association informed that they also served homemade food to 150 plus homeless people at the Railway Station, and provided them with drinking water.
This act of kindness was carried out with a purpose to contribute in support for COVID relief, it stated.
“YMCA encourages everyone to find ways to help one another in every which way possible during these times of hardships,” it added. (Page News Service)
