Yi lends helping hand to school children


Dimapur, March 29: Young Indians (Yi), youth wing of Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) is lending a helping hand towards school children through it’s Project Masoom. The session was conducted at Mt. Hermon Higher Secondary School, Kohima on March 27.
Speaking at the Session, Vitono Gugu Haralu, Yi Member and Director of PathFinders spoke on making the students aware of safe and unsafe touch. The awareness session is done with the help of a short film Komal, conceptualized and produced by Childline India to help teach children how they can keep themselves safe from abuse.
They are also taught ways to keep themselves safe, thus empowering them. The students were also informed about 1098 Helpline number that Childline operates 24*7.
With the help and support of the administration of school, Team Masoom has been able to sensitize hundreds of children at their school.
