WSSA flags off training camp of coaches

Dimapur, August 15: Western Sumi Sports Association (WSSA) on Monday flagged off its 10-day training camp of coaches at Hotel Saramati, Dimapur.
A press release informed that Founder of YouthNet Hekani Jakhalu flagged it off. The training will be held at Siliguri under Baichung Bhutia’s United Sikkim Football Academy.
Jakhalu encouraged the coaches to undertake the training as a mission to learn and start grooming under-14 players who will be future star players for the State.
She also acknowledged the vision and leadership of WSSA for working out a long-term systematic plan for the future of sports and the youth.
She encouraged that after the return, each coach should focus in training and taking under their wings at least 30 young players each.
Jakhalu further stated that the plan of action is to have WSSA Under-14 Tournament in December.
