Dimapur, February 1: Wokha District Legal Services Authority (WDLSA) organised a ‘mini camp’ in collaboration with District administration, Government departments, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), stakeholders at Bhandari Sub Division on January 31.
Khrievono Seletsu, Judicial Magistrate (First Class cum Secretary, WDLSA delivered keynote address and also inaugurated the new Legal Aid Clinic (LAC) at Bhandari-Sub Division, Wokha.
The secretary urged the people to avail utmost benefits through the mini camp and informed that free affidavits, declaration, correction of names, death and birth certificates, other official and educational documents are issued during the camp.
In this line, stalls were set up for general public assistance.
Para Legal Volunteer, Bhandari Er. Zuchobemo Odyuo was also present.
During the camp, the District administration, Medical Department, Social Welfare Department, Postal Department, Assistant Labour Commissioner, Differently Abled Society, Indianeers Skills Academy, Sinai Institute, Wokha, Common Service Centre (CSC), Sub-Division Agriculture Officer (SDAO), Food & Civil Supply, Soil & Water Conservation, Child Development Project Officer, District Education office catered to different services under their respective departments.
The Medical Dealers Association, Dimapur provided free medicines during the camp. More than 800 beneficiaries were recorded during the camp. (Page News Service)
