WSH resolves to move against Sumi criminals

Dimapur, August 30: The Western Sumi Hoho (WSH) has requested Dimapur police to furnish the name and other details of any Sumi criminals to the WSH as and when arrested.
In a letter to the Commissioner of Police, Dimapur, WSH president Dr Kakheto Zhimomi said the hoho has resolved to deal with any Sumi criminal, be it from any faction of NPG or any individual as per the community’s customary laws and practices.
“Besides the law of the land, we are compelled to clean the menace of criminal activities which has been plaguing our society and our land in accordance to our customary laws and practices which are safeguarded by the Indian Constitution,” it said.
The letter requested the Dimapur police to furnish the name and details of any Sumi individual who is involved in criminal activities leading to their arrest. (Page News Service)
