WSH lauds Covid frontline workers

Dimapur, April 11: Western Sumi Hoho President, Dr. Kakheto Zhimomi on Saturday lauded the COVID 19 frontline workers of Dimapur district for working tirelessly day and night in the fight against COVID 19.
Nagaland has still not reported a single positive case and this is all because of your sacrifices by sealing all the borders and discipling the people in maintaining social distance, despite so much difficulty, he said during a brief programme held in Commissioner Police Dimapur office premises.
Dubbing Dimapur as mini India where people from of all states resides, Dr. Kakheto observed that it was a difficult district for management specially in regard to law and order and social order. However, despite all these, the district administration, police and other frontline workers are rendering selfless services he noted.
He said, “Western Sumi Hoho salutes you and assure that we will be behind you and give full cooperation in any eventuality.”
As a gesture of their gratitude, the Western Sumi Hoho served Lunch ( smoke pork with Axone) to all the frontline workers fighting against COVID 19 at Dimapur.
Commissioner & Secretary, Kikheto Sema while noting Dimapur as the lifeline of all districts where all essential commodities are enroute from Dimapur, emphasized on the need for 3Cs… Coordination, Cooperation and Confidence.
DC Dimapur Anoop Kinchi IAS, expressed appreciation to the Western Sumi Hoho, noting the importance of such gesture for motivating the frontline workers to work more harder.
Commissioner of Police, Rothihu Tetseo, on behalf of the District administration, Police and other Departments acknowledged the Western Sumi Hoho and other NGOs for their moral, physical and prayer support. (Page News Service)
