WSH flays kidnapping culture

Nagaland News

DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 6: The Western Sümi Hoho (WSH) has vehemently condemned the kidnapping culture in the State, which it said has been on the rise in recent times.
“Most of the kidnapping is done because of monetary reasons by various groups demanding some amount of money”, it said in a statement, while condemning the abduction of a businessman in the State capital by an underground faction recently.
Denouncing such deplorable acts that have overtaken Naga society, WSH wanted that the group or faction involved in such cases of extortion and kidnapping be made public “so that people will know who are the ones that are going against the will of the people”.
“Such continuous acts are going to invite the public wrath in the coming days if those doing these despicable acts don’t restrain themselves and stop from these kinds of anti-social acts that are jeopardizing the peaceful co-existence and harmony amongst the different communities”, it stated.
