Nagaland News

Dimapur, June 21: With the ULB Elections approaching, the Western Sumi Hoho (WSH) and the Chakroma Public Organization (CPO) have urged all candidates and party workers to refrain from any form of violence, intimidation or unethical practices that could undermine the integrity of the electoral process.
“It is imperative that the elections are conducted in a transparent and democratic manner, ensuring that all candidates have equal opportunities to present their vision and engage with voters,” it said in a joint appeal for a free, fair and peaceful electoral process.
Calling upon all voters to exercise their democratic right responsibly and thoughtfully, they said that by electing leaders who are honest, competent and dedicated to serving the community, we can collectively contribute to the development and progress of the State.
“Let us demonstrate our commitment to democracy and good governance by participating in the electoral process with integrity and respect for one another,” it added. (Page News Service)
