World Music Day celebration on June 21 in Kohima

Nagaland Musicians’ Guild is set to celebrate the 9th World Music Day on June 21 at the Heritage, Old DC Bungalow Kohima from 5pm.
Announcing this during a press conference at Symphony Café at Kohima on Saturday, Musicians Guild president Melekhoto Pucho said the event is initiated by Symphony Academy of Music in collaboration with Audio Garage, Life Pro Productions, Shiu Lights, San Production, Tozo Powerline.
The partners for the WMD celebration are The Heritage, Alder Retreat, 2K Hotel, My Retreat, DE Oriental Grand, LA colline, Imprint, Disong Design, Alder college, Kros College, RSL, Synergy Group Enterprise, Geisou Sound, AK tools Hub, Kohima canopy, City Gym, Mon School of Music, CZ Powerline, Whito School,3E Nagaland, AK Events, Backspace Enterprise, Elpis Academy of Music, Music Academy Tseminyu, Mount Hermon Higher Secondary School.
The special attraction for the musical treat is Rain in Sahara, guest band from Assam while other lineup for the celebration include Version 2, Akhrieze, Atiro Kiho, Kivito, Senti Yabang, Zayie Zacchaeus, The Glutton and Papersky, he said.
He said that the entry tickets, which would be available at the venue of the celebration is fixed at Rs 200 each.
Meanwhile, Pucho also said that ahead of the WMD celebration, the one versus one Open Style Battle organized by Lamgrace Dance Studio would be held from 3:30 pm.
This is the WMD Dance Battle volume 2.0, he said while asking interested dancers to come forward and take part to win cash prizes.
