Dimapur, April 26: Community Health Centre, Changtongya observed the World Malaria Day with the theme “zero malaria starts with me” at the local ground, Changtongya Town on April 25.
Speaking on the occasion Dr. Temsuwapang M.O ‘Ayush’ Community Health Centre Changtongya said that the facilities to test blood for malaria disease is available at CHC Changtongya. He encouraged all to avail the facilities stating that malaria can be cured.
Dr. Wapang challenged the gathering particularly the students to spread the awareness of malaria. Short speech was also delivered by Kisangwala Longkumer, from Oriental High School.
A school rally was also held to mark the occasion which was participated by students from Green River Valley High School, Christian Standard Higher Secondary School, Oriental High School and GMS (A).
The programme was chaired by Dr. Imtijungshi, SMO Community Health Centre Changtongya. He also delivered the vote of thanks.
