Work distribution for mass social work

Dimapur, May 2: Chief Secretary, Temjen Toy, IAS has assigned sweepers, malis and chowkidars for clearing of Secretariat office compound during the pre- monsoon preparedness mass social work on May 4. The rest of officers and staff will join their respective colony social work.
Similarly all Directorate offices have been directed to assign clearing of office compounds to specific list of staff and rest to participate in colony social works considering the priority requirements.
Meanwhile in connection with the state wide mass social work on May 4, a control room will be set up in Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Kohima to coordinate with different departments on the day of the social work. One may contact 9436010443 and 7005694685 for any queries and information.
Peren: DC Peren, Sarita Yadav, IAS has requested all HoOs to inform their respective staff to bring necessary equipments for the social work and respective departments have been asked to provide refreshment for all their staff involved in the work.

Dimapur: The Dimapur Urban Council Chairman Federation (DUCCF) in compliance with the District administration’s directive to carry out mass social work on Saturdays has reminded all colonies chairmen to mobilize colony public and execute the mass social work on Saturdays from 6 to 8 am.
As for May 4 social work, DUCCF said the main emphasis should be to clear drainages within respective colonies, keeping in mind the onset of pre-monsoon and to prevent water stagnation and mosquito breeding. All colonies have been advised to pile the collected drainage waste at specific places so that the DMC garbage machineries can collect the waste easily.
For disposal of the collected waste, chairmen may contact DMC sanitary in-charge at 9615217798.
Meanwhile it reminded all colonies chairmen that DUCCF will have general meeting on May 4, at 3 pm, at Tourist Lodge. Colonies chairmen under Dimapur Municipal area have been requested to attend the meeting without fail and to bring the annual membership fee.
