Women’s u-23 cricket: State eves beat Mizoram

Dimapur, January 30: Nagaland beat Mizoram by 73 runs in the Women’s U-23 1-day Trophy 2019-20 at Ravenshaw University Ground 2, Cuttack.
Batting first, Nagaland scored 190/4 in 47 overs, with Tulika top scoring with 60 and Ayantika contributing a fine 50.
For Mizoram, Manizha, MM Jadhav, Puipui and Kimi took a wicket apiece.
Chasing the target, Mizoram were bowled out for 117 in 45.1 overs, with Ananya claiming 3 Mizoram wickets, while Talirenla and Trishna took 2 wickets each.
For Mizroam, M M Jadhav top scored with 33.
Col C K Nayudu Trophy
In the Col C K Nayudu Trophy (2019-20), Bihar were in control at 417/5 at stumps on Day-2 after being put in to bat by Nagaland at Urja Stadium, Patna. Vibhooti scored 152 and Pranav made 114 for Bihar, while Joshua was the most successful Nagaland bowler taking 3 wickets.
Ranji Trophy
Meanwhile the Ranji trophy match between Mizoram and Nagaland ended in a draw at CCFC Ground Kolkata after the last two days play was not possible due to bad weather.
Nagaland next takes on Goa from February 4 to 7 at Nagaland Cricket Stadium, Sovima.
