Dimapur, April 1: The Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources conducted training on value added fish products to women during the year 2017-18 on March 29 at CRBC, Zunpha, Tseminyu. District Fishery Officer Kohima along with her staffs gave hands on training to the participants to make five products – Fish pickle, Fish cutlet, Fish finger and Fish soup, emphasizing on hygiene, product packaging and food safety measures.
In the closing programme Arhunlo Semp, Development Secretary, CRBC, Zunpha thanked the Department for providing the training to women and also encouraged the trainees to become self reliant by utilizing the skills and knowledge imparted. Altogether 20 trainees attended the training.
