Dimapur, July 4: Wokha Village well-wishers and supporters of Dr. Chumben Murry on Saturday organised a thanksgiving-cum-picnic for the legislator at Hammock Resort, Wokha.
Speaking during the programme, Murry assured to lead the people in a positive, progressive and inclusive manner.
He called upon his supporters to ditch differences and divisions in the village and urged them to maintain peace and unity. He said that Wokha villagers should set a good example for others.
Murry appreciated the leadership of Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and NDPP President Chingwang Konyak. He told his supporters not to be carried away by propaganda.
Around one thousand supporters from Wokha Village attended the thanksgiving programme.
