WC NNPGs holds meet  with Nagaland Tribe Hohos

Dimapur, March 20: The Nagaland Tribe Hohos and the Working Committee (WC), NNPGs met at Niathu Resort, Chumoukedima, Dimapur today discussed on the status of the ongoing political negotiations between WC NNPGs and GoI.
Observing that peace and unity process among the Naga political groups is the need of the hour, Nagaland Tribal Hohos agreed to work together towards bringing all Naga political groups to a common understanding.
The house acknowledged the progress of the political negotiations between WC and GOI and also recalled the latter’s position that a single Agreement is on the anvil.
On this, the house reaffirmed that it is a legitimate aspiration of the Nagas to live together as one however, taking contemporary political realities into consideration, what is honorable and acceptable to the Nagas at the present time must be pursued and concluded by the two negotiating parties, i.e GOI and WC at the earliest.
The meeting was attended by Ao Senden (AS), Angami Public Organization (APO), Chakhesang Public Organization (CPO), Chang Khulie Satchang (CKS) , Konyak Union (KU), Lotha Hoho (LH), Pochury Hoho (PH), Phom Peoples Council (PPC), Rengma Hoho (RH), Khuiamnungam Tribal Council (KTC), Sumi Hoho (SH), Yimchunger Tribal Council (YTC) and Zeliang Peoples Organization (ZPO).
