Visetuo Chüpuo concert in Kohima on Nov. 11

Kohima, November 6: Come November 11 and music lovers can enjoy the live concert of popular Tenyidie and Nagamese singer Visetuo Chüpuo at Capital Cultural Hall Kohima from 4:30 PM onwards.
Chüpuo, a composer and singer, who started composing and singing at the tender age of 14 and has been liked by music lovers for his popular songs Sunaraka (gold & money) and Sankha Biri will be on mega stage under the initiative of five like-minded people – Dievi Yano, Rukravolie Rupreo, Thepfukhrietuo Rupreo, Atseizo Sorünuo and Chüwhuotuo Kense.
He will be joined by other local artist Mengu Suokhrie, Aseno Metha, Vikuyole Tase and Rokovi Khawakhrie as guest artists.
Addressing a press conference at Angami Youth Organization (AYO) office here, concert managing convenor Rukravolie Rupreo said that concert has been conceptualized to support the local artist.
“We need to support the local singers,” he said.
Rupreo requested the well wishers and all the music lovers to be part of this concert to support Chüpuo’s music journey.
Informing that the chair ticket for the concert is Rs. 500, Dievi Yano said tickets will also be available at the venue itself.
To his credit, Chüpuo from Zhadima village in Kohima district has composed 150 songs including gospel, wedding, romantic and patriotic songs.
Chüpuo said he would perform at least 12 to 16 songs on the concert day with some of the popular Sunaraka, Neitseivonuo, Sankha Biri, Rose, Jeevan Bacha Bole, Nrubei etc.
