Kohima, November 25: The All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) announced that it will hold E-Collegiate Meet cum Beat Contest on December 14 and 15, said the Vice-President of ANCSU Inato Y. Chisho on Wednesday.
In the past years, ANCSU had been organizing the collegiate meet with physical arrangements. However, due to the prevailing Covid-19 situations, this year’s collegiate meet will be held virtually, he said.
While urging upon the students to actively participate and compete with each other positively, Chisho said the meet will definitely help the students to make use of the internet in a productive way.
He also maintained that students who have stage fright can always express their ideas, vision and concern through this platform by their active participation and that the meet will provide the students a new way of learning.
According to ANCSU, the union is anticipating the participation of thousand students from the 39 colleges that are affiliated to ANCSU.
An ANCSU official also highlighted that the event includes categories such as: Football Freestyle Challenge, Basketball Freestyle Challenge, Online Chess, Slam Poetry, Essay writing competition, Photography, painting and quiz.
Also, categories like original song composition, beat contest, folk fusion, innovation and designing and film craft competition are also included. (Page News Service)
