Village leaders resolve on 2-lane project

Dimapur, February 19: The leaders from the Villages through which 2-lane road passes from Pfutsero to Phek via Sakraba had a meeting at Sakraba Village on February 19 in the presence of the DC Phek and his subordinate officials, CPO officials, CCPO officials, NHIDCL representatives, contractors of the two firms namely KKB & MODHUCOM.
The meeting resolved to stand unitedly to pave way for the successful completion of the road from Pfutsero to Phek till its completion.
The meeting resolved to extend co-operation to the administration and the Contractors by means of mitigating the problems associated with the process of developing the road.
The meeting also urged the concern authorities to do justice to the public by compensating the damage.
The meeting also resolved to let the villages and concerned colonies authorities to take due responsibilities in locating suitable and requisite numbers of dumping sites within respective jurisdiction by tying up with the administrative authorities and concern Contractors .
The meeting further resolved to insist on quality workmanship that laid down specification for 2-lane road be never compromised on respect of any kind of work or materials used for the construction of the road. It would also monitor and insist timely completion of the Project within the scheduled time.
The leaders/representatives from villages and colonies who attended the meeting are Pfutsero town mission colony: Rikizu colony Pfutsero; Porba village; Sakraba village; Pholami village; Upper Khomi village; Middle Khomi village; Losami Village; Phek village and Phek town.
