Dimapur, August 10: Bhandari Block Task Force (BTF) on COVID-19 carried out vaccination drive-cum-health camp at Mongphio and Lishuyo villages in Woka district on August 8.
During the programme, ADC Bhandari, Tiameren Chang explained the importance and benefits of COVID-19 vaccine and said that every eligible persons should avail the opportunity to secure health and safety. He urged the gathering not to believe in rumours circulating on social media.
The ADC assured that COVID-19 vaccine has no side effects and it is just like any other vaccines for diseases such as measles, chickenpox and rubella. The BTF, Bhandari was led by ADC & BTF chairman, Tiameren Chang; SDO (C) Sulanthung; Dr.Renathung, CHC Medical team and CDPO Bhandari, TY Peter Yanthan.
