Dimapur, January 25: The NFHRCC has strongly urged the Department of PWD (R&B), Government of Nagaland to uphold the tripartite agreement as suggested between the Department, the contractors and the NFHRCC for an effective and transparent implementation of the works along with the respective tribal hohos in their respective jurisdictions.
In a release, NFHRCC also urged the Government to award works judiciously to reasonable contractors/firms with sound financial and technical backings to execute the works. It also urged the Government not to entertain any abnormal rates quoted by the bidding contractors in order to maintain good workmanship quality while executing the tasks.
