Umeed Society and WSYF distribute essential items to 8 villages under Aghunaqa Area

Dimapur, June 13: The Umeed Society, Dimapur and Western Sümi Youth Front (WSYF) on June 8 distributed essential goods to 8 villages under Aghunaqa Area as Covid relief. This programme was initiated with the help of Omega Yepthomi, GS Road Dimapur President and DCCI Public Grievances Cell Chairman. The essential goods were distributed under the leadership of WSYF President Mughavi Awomi and WSYF General Secretary Bohoi K Yepthomi.


All together THE team distributed essential items to 265 households from 8 villages- Luhezhe Village 45 households, Mughavi Village 80 households, Nikihe Village 30 households, Khutovi Village 25 households, Nizheto Village 20 households, Aghunaqa HQ-10 households, Zhexuche Village 30 households and Xukhuvi 25 households.
At such a testing situation releasing the need to extend support and cooperation toward the state government the Umeed Society and WSYF as a civil society organisation took up this initiative for the poor, needy and daily wage earners who are the worst sufferers among others.
The Umeed Society consists of Nagas, Bengali, Bihari, Marwari and Nepali community who are always ready to extend such support at any difficult time for the welfare of the society.
