Two seats will not end NPF: MLA Azo

KOHIMA, MARCH 6: NPF leader, Kuzholuzo Nienu a.k.a Azo today asserted that winning just two seats alone will not be the end of the oldest regional party but a revival in all forms.
In an appeal to NPF party workers, Azo requested all NPF Party rank and file not be discouraged by the recent results of the State Assembly elections.
Also asking them not to play a blame game but to share moral responsibility for the loss, he said winning just two seats alone will not be the end of the oldest regional party but a revival of the party in all forms.
“The battles have just begun for us all. Let us not lose hope, be hopeful in prayer and trust God’s timing for us all”, he said.
Azo, who won from the 19-Phek Assembly Constituency, appeal to all his people to maintain peace and tranquility in the constituency.
He also earnestly requested every individual to abstain from violence saying that the elections are over and that it is unnecessary to get involved in activities that would hamper the peace and stability of our Constituency. (Page News Service)
