Dimapur, June 1: Tuensang has decided to release 36 people from green zone quarantine centres who have completed 14 days quarantine.
They will be released with medical certifications and standing orders in case they face problems while entering villages and wards, after which seven more days of home quarantine shall be mandatory for each. Medical team will be supervising each one of them.
This was decided in a meeting of the Tuensang District Task Force for COVID-19 held on Monday under the chairmanship of DC Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant.
Of the 36, 6 females and 3 males are from Abigail Hostel Longkhim and 16 males and 11 females from Setam Polytechnic quarantine facilities.
The DTF meeting also discussed report on visiting engineers for the construction and installation of BSL-2 laboratory at Tuensang. It also discussed on emergency re-testing of returnees from red zone and decided to request further tests on priority.
