Tuensang DPDB recommends upgradation of offices


Dimapur, September 25: District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) Tuensang held its monthly meeting on September 21 in the DC’s conference hall under the chairmanship of Toshi Wungtung, Advisor, IPR, SCERT and Village Guards.
After reviewing the last month meeting minutes, the Board discussed on the agenda and recommended for the creation of SDO (Power) Office at Shamator; creation of Sub-Judicial Magistrate Office at Shamator; creation of Sub-Treasury Office at Shamator; upgradation of SDPO (Police) at Shamator; upgradation of Sub-Post office at Shamator; upgradation of IA to APRO at Shamator; creation of VG’s Assistant Commandant Office at Chessore; creation of Information Center at Chessore; creation of Police outpost at Mangko EAC Hq and creation of Sub-Center Medical at Kiutsukiur village.
L. Jamithung Lotha, Deputy Commissioner, Tuensang requested the HoDs to contribute for CM Relief Fund and advertisement banner of the department under Tuensang District for Loyem Memorial Trophy.
Toshi Wungtung, chairman of the board, requested the administration to coordinate with ADC Noklak for the formation of Red Cross Society in Noklak. He also appealed to the officers to work sincerely in serving the people especially in ENPO areas where stability of law and power will come along with the development and economic growth and officers have a vital role to play. He also requested the Municipal and Urban Development Department to monitor the waste management in town areas.
C. M. Chang, Minister for Forest, Environment & Climate Change also requested the concerned department to review the current situation regarding HIV as Tuensang district is ranked second position in Nagaland.
Muthingnyuba Sangtam, MLA appealed to the officers to prepare the ‘Plan of Action’ or functions of the office and submit to the representative of their respective constituency for better coordination and cooperation in functioning for the welfare of the people.
Toyang Chang, MLA also requested the officers posted at Tuensang to work sincerely and honestly for the upliftment of the people in the district. (Page News Service)
