Tuensang conducts random testing of high risk individuals

Dimapur, August 25: Random testing of high COVID-19 risk individuals in Tuensang has resulted in detection of two COVID-19 positive cases in the district.
A DIPR report said the medical department reported the result of the random test at a DTF meeting held on August 24 under the chairmanship of DC & chairman DTF, Kumar Ramnikant IAS.
The medical department reported that all primary contacts of the two cases detected have been traced and all necessary precautionary measures are being taken.
In the meeting, the DC briefed on the status of BSL-II lab construction, which will be inaugurated soon. EAC (P), Mhashumi Ezung and Keyileuteing gave presentation on COVID-19 awareness drive conducted in all the wards of Tuensang town. (Page New Service)
