Dimapur, March 10: A one day awareness cum registration programme for placement and skills training under PMKVY Scheme in the field of aviation, hospitality and cruise line was held at Auditorium Hall, Phom Lempong on February 28. It was organized by the District administration in collaboration with Emporium Skills Training Institutes under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao programme.
Deputy Commissioner Longleng, John Tsulise Sangtam encouraged the youth to unite to eradicate the problem of unemployment prevalent in Longleng district.
President, Phomla Hoichem highlighted the problems faced by the young girls and put a strong emphasis on participation in political & formal decision making. She encouraged the youths to step out from the comfort zone and meet life with passion.
President, Phom Students’ Conference (PSC) exhorted the youth to be confident and bold enough to stand for their rights. He assured that his organization would render help and support in any activities that can eradicate the problem of unemployment in Longleng.
Centre Director of Emporium Skills Training Institute, Temjenkala Aier highlighted on the activities and achievement of the institute and presented the importance of skills training on aviation, hospitality and cruise line as well as the nature of work.
Managing Director, Anirban Mukhurjee also exhorted the youths while EAC Longleng HQ. Robi Sangtam proposed the vote of thanks.
