Traffic regulations for Assembly session from Mar 20

Dimapur, March 17: In view of the 1st session of the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly to be held from March 20 to 28, Kohima police will enforce the following traffic regulations as part of security arrangement.
Only vehicles with the following car passes will be allowed entry to the Assembly Secretariat: ‘X’ (Red letter with white background) – For legislators; ‘Y’ (Yellow letter with white background) – For AHoDs/HoDs ; ‘Assembly Logo’ with blue background – For Assembly staff 2023; ‘LH’ (White letter with black background) – For Police personnel and P.S/P.A; ‘O’ (Green letter with white background) – For IPR/media and other department s; ‘On Assembly Duty’ (Red letter with white background) – For staff bus/pool & dak vehicles.
No vehicle will be allowed to be parked by the roadside from 6 am onwards during Assembly sessions at the following routes: From BSNL Telephone Exchange till Classic Island; from Raj Bhavan till Classic Island; from Classic Island to Assembly Secretariat via TCP gate, Phool bari, Razhü point and High School; and from New CM Official Residence, Phezoucha to Assembly Secretariat.
Heavy vehicles will not be allowed to ply in Kohima town during Assembly session from 6 am till the session is over. All loading and unloading of goods in Kohima town should be completed by 6 am (morning) during Assembly session.
Heavy vehicles will not be allowed to be parked along ‘D’ Block road.
While anticipating positive co-operation from the public, police warned that it will tow away the defaulting vehicles and the towing charges will be borne by the vehicles owners.
