Traffic regulations during Assembly Session

Dimapur, August 2: In view of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly session on August 3 and 5, Kohima Police has announced following traffic regulations as part of the security arrangement:

Only vehicles with the following car passes will be allowed entry to the Assembly Secretariat.
‘X’ (White letter with Blue background) – for Legislators
‘Y’ (Black letter with Red background) – for AHoDs/HoDs
‘Assembly Logo’ – for Assembly staff
‘LH’ (White letter with Red Background) – for Police personnel and PS/PA
‘O’ (Black letter with Green Background) – for IPR/Media and other departments
‘ON ASSEMBLY DUTY’ (Black letter with White background) – For staff bus/pool & dak vehicles
No vehicle, including two-wheelers, will be allowed to park by the roadside from 6 am on August 3 and 5 at the following routes till the session is over:
From BSNL telephone exchange till Classic Island
From Raj Bhavan till Classic Island.
From Classic Island till Assembly Secretariat via Razhü Point/High School Junction
Heavy vehicles will not be allowed to ply in Kohima town during Assembly Session, from 6 am till the session is over. All loading and unloading of goods in Kohima town should be completed by 6 am during Assembly Session.

It warned that defaulting vehicles will be towed away and the charges will be borne by the vehicle owners. (Page News Service)
