DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 10: In view of the ensuing Nagaland Legislative Assembly session from February 12 to 20, Kohima Police has announced the following traffic regulations:
- Only vehicles with the following car passes will be allowed entry to the Assembly Secretariat.
‘X’ (Black letter with yellow background) – For Legislators
‘Y’ (White letter with green background) – For AHoDs/HoDs
‘Assembly Logo’ (Red background) – For Assembly staff
‘LH’ (Blue letter with White background) – For Police personnel and PS/PA
‘O’ (Red letter with blue background) – For IPR/media and other departments
‘ON ASSEMBLY DUTY’ (Red letter with white background) – For staff bus/pool & dsak vehicles
- No vehicle will be allowed to be parked by the roadside from 6 am onwards during Assembly Sessions at the following routes:
From BSNL telephone exchange till Classic Island.
From Raj Bhavan till MS Classic Island.
From Classic Island to Assembly Secretariat via High School.
From New CM official residence, Phezoucha to Assembly Secretariat.
- Heavy vehicles will not be allowed to ply in Kohima town during Assembly session, from 6 am till the session is over. All loading and unloading of goods in Kohima town should be completed by 6 am during Assembly session.
- Heavy vehicles will not be allowed to be parked along ‘D’ Block road.
It warned that defaulting vehicles would be towed, and the charges will be borne by the respective owners.
