Traffic regulation during Assembly session

Dimapur, February 19: In view of the 3rd session of the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly on February 21, 22, 23, 25 and 26, the following traffic regulations will be enforced as part of the security arrangement.
1. Only vehicles with the following car passes will be allowed entry to the Assembly Secretariat.
‘A’ (White letter with Green background) – For Legislators
‘B’ (White letter with Blue background) – For AHoDs/HoDs
‘Assembly Logo’ – For Assembly Staff
‘LH’ (White with Brown Background)- For Police Personnel and P.S/P.A
‘O’ (Black letter with Pink Background)- For IPR/Media and Other Department
‘ON ASSEMBLY DUTY’ (Red letter with Yellow background) – For Staff Bus/Pool & Dak Vehicles
2. No vehicle including two-wheeler would be allowed to park by the roadside from 6 a.m. onwards on February 21, 22, 23, 25 and 26 from BSNL Telephone Exchange till Classic Island; from Raj Bhavan till M.S Classic Island and from Classic Island till Assembly Secretariat via Razhü Point till the session is over.
3. Heavy vehicles would not be allowed to ply in Kohima town during Assembly Session, from 6 a.m. till the session is over. All loading and unloading of goods in Kohima town should be completed by 6 a.m. during Assembly Session.
While anticipating positive co-operation from the public, the police will tow away the defaulting vehicles and the charges will be borne by the vehicles owners, PRO, DEF Kohima stated.
