Dimapur, July 10: Peren District Task Force on COVID-19 held a joint meeting with Joint Action Committee (JAC) on July 10 at DB Court, ADC Office Jalukie under the chairmanship of DC Peren-cum-DTF chairman, Sentiwapang Aier, NCS.
The DTF and JAC members deliberated on the matter related to total lockdown in the district, and after a thorough deliberation resolved to relax total lockdown in the whole of Peren District from July 12.
DC Peren said the general public are to be reminded to strictly adhere with the existing lockdown guidelines issued by the State Government.
Further, DC Peren appealed the public to strictly follow safety measures such as compulsory use of face mask, hand hygiene protocol and maintenance of social distancing.
Dr Imnuk highlighted on the current status of Haryana returnees as well as contact tracing carried out in containment areas by health frontline workers of Peren. (Page News Service)
