Dimapur, August 1: MP Lok Sabha , Tokheho Yepthomi has expressed optimism that the long overdue Naga political issue will soon be settled with the Governor of Nagaland, RN Ravi at the helm of the Indo-Naga political negotiations.
“With our Honorable Governor now at the helm of the Indo-Naga political negotiations, we are hopeful that the long overdue political issues will soon be settled,” the MP said in a press release issued today.
Congratulating RN Ravi on being sworn-in as the Governor of Nagaland, Tokheho said the people of Nagaland are very fortunate that for the first time in the decades old political negotiations the State Governor will also be the Interlocutor for Naga political negotiations.
“His vast experience in his long career as a distinguished police officer, Director of Intelligence Bureau, Chairman of Joint Intelligence Committee and Deputy National Security Advisor will be an asset for the people of Nagaland as he embarks to discharge his duties as the Governor of Nagaland,” he said.
Tokheho also welcomed the family members of the Governor to Nagaland and hoped that they will make Nagaland their home away from home.
