Tokheho inquires about status of 2-lane NH-2 construction

Dimapur, November 22: MP Lok Sabha, Tokheho Yepthomi has inquired about the details and status of two-lane highway construction on NH-2 in Nagaland in the ongoing winter session of Parliament.
Replying to his unstarred question, Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari replied that widening to two lane with paved shoulder & strengthening from Km. 40.000 to 56.000 of NH-61 (New NH-2) for a length of 16.00 km with sanction cost of Rs 167.62 cr. The targeted date of completion is 7.12.2020
On widening to two lane with paved shoulder & strengthening from Km. 56.000 to 72.000 of NH-61 (New NH-2), the minister said the length is 16.40 km with sanction cost of Rs 172.63. The targeted date of completion is 7.12.2020.
The widening to two lane with paved shoulder & strengthening from Km.168.00 to Km 183.783 of NH-61 (New NH-2) is 15.78 km and sanction cost is Rs 217.35 cr. The targeted date of completion is 15.11.2020.
