Tokheho addresses ESSU conference

Dimapur, January 5: MP Lok Sabha, Tokheho Yepthomi exhorted the Eastern Sumi Students Union at the 39th annual conference inaugural session at Khetoi village, Aghunato on January 4.
In his message, Tokheho urged students to look beyond government service for means of employment. He highlighted the ramifications of excessive government employees on the economic health of the state. Instead, he urged students to be entrepreneurs and be independent of government dependency.
Emphasizing on dignity of labour, he stressed that vocational jobs are one the best solutions for our weak economy. He urged students to have a clear mindset as to what they wanted to pursue after completing their education and not to burden parents with finding employment for them.
The ESSU conference will be held over a period of 3 days from January 4 to 6.
