Dimapur, December 8: The Dimapur centre of Brahma Kumaris Rajyoga Education Centre is organizing a 12-day ‘Tension Free and Rajyoga Meditation Camp’ on the theme ‘Farewell to Tension’ here at St. Mary’s Montessori & Hr. Secondary School, Dimapur starting from December 9.
Talking about the event, BK Poonam, who has come from Indore for this said that Brahma Kumaris has been undertaking such camps all around the country and this is the first time that they are organizing this event in Nagaland. She also informed that previously such camps were done in Assam, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya and the turnouts were phenomenal as everyone is stressed out and depressed and looking for a way out.
She cleared that Brahma Kumaris is not a religious organization but an institution that helps people get rid of addiction, depression, tension, insomnia, migraine, control blood pressure as well as establish a connect to the ‘supreme-being’ through meditation.
Elaborating on the activities, she said that throughout this camp there would be lectures, festivals on different subjects, meditations and many more and on the eighth day there will be a marathon to establish world peace and a feeling of brotherhood. She cleared that the camp would start each day at 5.30 pm and end at 7 pm.
The camp has been kept free of charge and about 7,000 people are expected to take part in this, according to the organizers. With about 8,500 centers across 132 countries, its headquarter is at Mount Abu, Rajasthan.
