Kohima, October 15: The Town Area Prayer Fellowship (TAPF) of Nepali Baptist Church (NBC) Kohima celebrated 25 years of existence at the Church premises in Midland here on October 13.
Former pastor of NBC Kohima, Rev Muktinath Khatiwada was the main speaker while greetings were shared by Deacon of Union Baptist Church Kohima Seketouzo Haralu and Chairman of Paramedical Area Prayer Fellowship Nandu Thapa.
Reminiscence of the initial days of starting the fellowship was shared by pioneer Chupaman Rai and Pastor Bhupati Regmi. Special praise through song was presented by members of Town Area Prayer Fellowship and cultural praise by NBCK Sunday School children.
Convener of silver jubilee celebration committee Chandra Bahadur Sunar felicitated the pioneer, founders and the leaders of the fellowship on the occasion.
Chaired by chairman board of deacon, NBCK, Rana Chetri the celebrations commenced with NBCK Pastor Surjay B Sapokota saying the invocation. Neelam Chetri and vice chairman TAPF Chandru Lamghate read the scripture portion while chairman TAPF Jhatak Basel tendered the vote of thanks and founding member Narayan Shrestha pronounced the benediction.
