Dimapur, March 31: Department of Botany, St. Joseph University (SJU), Chumoukedima, conducted a talk on Science and Innovation with Dr. Akumtoshi Lkr, Founder of Ecostarch, as the resource speaker, in the university seminar hall on March 28.
A press release informed that 76 students along with faculties, and research scholars from Botany Department participated in the programme.
The resource person began the session by motivating students to chase their respective dreams. He spoke and highlighted on the importance of science and innovation, and encouraging the students to take part in programs related to innovative research and climate changes.
The speaker further elaborated on developing the mindset for new discoveries and developing innovative ideas for welfare of society.
