NEW DELHI, JANUARY 10: The panel on 'One Nation, One Election' led by former President Ram Nath Kovind has received over 5,000 suggestions from the public on simultaneous polls, sources said on Wednesday. Last week, the high-level committee had invited suggestions from the public "for making appropriate changes in the existing legal administrative framework to enable simultaneous elections in the country". Lakhimpur (Assam), June 4: The Assam government on Saturday formed a three-member committee to look into the death of a pregnant patient allegedly due to medical negligence and infrastructural loopholes at Lakhimpur Medical College and Hospital (LMCH) here. New Delhi, September 2: Congress president Sonia Gandhi set up a nine-member panel of party leaders headed by Digvijaya Singh on Thursday for planning "sustained agitations on national issues".
