DC Kohima notify medical shops

Dimapur, April 20: DC Kohima, Shanavas C, IAS has notified all medical/pharmacy shops under Kohima district selling schedule X or H drugs to adhere to Rule 65 of the Drugs & Cosmetics Act 1940 and Drugs & Cosmetic Rules 1945. In a notification, the DC said drugs mentioned under Schedule 'X' & 'H' should be sold only on the prescription of a registered medical practitioner and only the amount specified in the prescription. The sale of such drugs should be recorded in a separate register mentioning the name and address...
