Bangladesh closes border with India amid rise in COVID-19 cases

Dhaka, April 25: Bangladesh on Sunday closed its border with India for two weeks in view of the sharp increase in the coronavirus cases in the neighbouring country."We are closing it (border) for the passengers for the time being ," Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen told reporters. College, varsities, non-essential shops of Shillong to be shut amid surge in COVID cases

Shillong, April 21: The Meghalaya government on Wednesday announced shutting down of colleges and universities in state capital Shillong till May 3 amid a surge in COVID-19 cases.
