Patna, May 15: More than 30 personnel of the Assam Police, on election duty in Bihar, were injured on Wednesday when their bus collided head-on with a truck in Muzaffarpur district, a senior official said. Heroin worth over Rs 2.5 crore seized in Assam

Guwahati, May 9: Around 420 gram of heroin worth over Rs 2.5 crore was seized and two persons arrested during a search by the Special Task Force (STF) in Assam's Kamrup district on Thursday, police said. Acting on a tip-off regarding movement of narcotics, an STF team led by additional SP Kalyan Pathak intercepted a vehicle in Boko area of the district and recovered 30 packets of heroin. GUWAHATI, April 28: Assam recorded 81.17% voter turnout in the second phase of polling for five Lok Sabha constituencies, officials said on Saturday.
