Dimapur, March 26: Sovima Village Council paid a courtesy call on NSCN (IM) supremo Th Muivah this morning and implored him to bring an early, honorable settlement to the Naga political problem during our lifetime and not bequeath it to the future Naga generations.
SVC also likened the Naga people as a banyan tree whose aerial roots have firmly imbedded themselves onto the ground and have now grown to be supporting trunks which hold up the tree, and that the original tree trunk could not be differentiated these days from the other aerial roots.
It also underlined the need for the Naga people to come together as one people.
