Sumi Hoho condemns factional clash at Dimapur

DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 18: The Sumi Hoho has condemned the factional clash that took place between NSCN (U) and NSCN (K) Niki group in Dimapur, near Khehoyi camp, killing one NSCN (K) functionary on the night of October 17.
The Sumi Hoho also condemned functionaries of different Naga political groups who keep defecting from one group to other thereby creating unnecessary understandings among Naga political groups.
“When every section of the Nagas are eagerly yearning and anticipating for peaceful solution to the vexed Indo-Naga political issue at the earliest possible time, cropping up of such kind of situation is uncalled for and condemnable”, SH president, Nikheto Jimomi and general secretary, Dr Vihuto Asumi stated in a press release.
The Hoho urged all Naga political groups to refrain from creating situations that is detrimental to the peace process and is against people’s desires and wises.
It is high time the Naga political groups heed to the call for peace and early solution, it added. (Page News Service)
