Dimapur, June 22: The UT office of NSCN (IM) has appealed to the Dimapur district administration and the Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) to strictly implement the existing rate fixed by the DMC by conducting checking daily.
In a press release, the UT NSCN said despite the rate fixed by the DMC, butchers continue to charge Rs 300 per kg of beef, pork, chicken and price rise in other commodities.
“Therefore, we appeal to the district administration and DMC to strictly implement the existing rate fixed by the DMC by checking on daily basis as it hampers the economy of the common people in this trying time,” it said.
The UT NSCN (IM) also appealed to the civil societies, GBs, consumers’ rights forum and all concerned in the district for kind cooperation. (Page News Service)
