Dimapur, March 31: The RJD Nagaland State has unanimously resolved to support the PDA consensus candidates for 26 Aonglenden by-election and Lok Sabha election.
A release issued by the State unit president Khetovi Kinny said the resolution to support the NDPP-PDA candidates was arrived in a State executive body meeting on Sunday after thorough deliberation over “the progress and development ushered in the State” under Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio.
The meeting observed that the PDA government led by Rio have been providing equitable focus in all spheres of development and in the same line to all the districts, it said.
The RJD Nagaland unit said it firmly believes that the State will progress to greater heights given the fact that just within the first year of the PDA Government, “much progress and development have been achieved” besides maintaining peace and harmony.
The House was also unanimous in viewing that the public had earlier voted the NPF party to power but it had functioned and ran the affairs of the state like a syndicate favouring only its party men and women. NPF had governed the state more like a business culture without any sense of governance, it added.
