State player selected for u-19 men’s challenger trophy

Dimapur, October 24: Nagaland cricket player, Raja Swarnkar (18), who is a promising right arm pacer, has been selected for the upcoming BCCI U-19 Men’s One Day Challenger Trophy 2021-22 that will be held at Ahmedabad from October 25 to November 10.

Raja got a call from the BCCI for his brilliant performance in the recently concluded Vinoo Mankad Trophy where he took 14 wickets in 6 matches and also saw Nagaland qualify for the knock-outs, informed Nagaland Cricket Association in a press release.
The U-19 Men’s One Day Challenger Trophy is organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) comprising 6 teams with the top-performing players of the Men’s U-19 Vinoo Mankad Trophy. Furthermore, players from this tournament will be selected to represent India’s U-19 team in the upcoming U-19 Men’s World Cup. (Page News Service)
